Sharon lives in Los Angeles with her giant dog, reclusive cat, a couple of guinea pigs, kids who are older than she wants them to be, a husband who indulges her no end, a Nikon D807000, a shelf full of cookbooks, rooms stuffed with fiction books, and whatever shows up on the doorstep.   Food and cooking have been a part of her life since she was little, mostly because her mother was an incredible cook and teacher, but also because she apparently has a genetic fear of starving, and has to have snacks on hand at all times.

Professional Sharon is a technology executive, advisor to start-up companies, and board member at some terrific non-profit organizations in Los Angeles.  She is a popular boss because she brings cookies to the office all the time.

She's been writing Cheesy Pennies since April 2009, and enjoys the whole process immensely. She hopes other people enjoy it, too.

She also hopes to eventually stop referring to herself in the third person.

Sometimes it's best to be prepared for the worst.  
You just never know.

Print a Recipe?
Until everyone keeps a laptop in their kitchen like I do, you might find it handy to print a post now and then.  That really would be great, huh?  I'm in the process of creating printable pdfs of all the recipes, which will be stored and indexed in the Recipe Box.  From there, you can click and print to your heart's content.  Stay tuned!
